I have a meeting next Tuesday with the local DWP return to work specialist, to see what help is available to try to overcome my mental (cognitive) issues.
Of course I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about it. I'm thinking, probably wrongly that I will be pressured to return to work, in any case no doubt it will be a stressful experience.

Guess the important thing is that you can work as much as you are able, but it doesn't affect DLA (soon to become Personal Independence Allowance (PIPS) ) It's not means tested. Which is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteThere's nowt wrong with doing a *little* work if you can mate. Remember, DLA isn't to do with with our disability, it's to do the help we need with our care and mobility
