Christmas Bonus

I have just received a letter from the DWP, my first thought was one of dread! "What's gone wrong now!"

But surprise of surprises it seems I am getting a £10 Christmas Bonus for being on DLA / ESA allowances.
Not an earth shattering amount by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a pleasent surprise for a change.

Motability Car

At long last my motability car claim is moving again. The DWP have finally extended my mobility allowance until Jan 2014, so I have got the car on order again.

Sense triumphs over bureaucracy! 

DWP

Rang the DWP this morning to check they got my latest sick note. I got straight through without having to wait ages in the queue. They have got my sick note so I can relax for another 2 months now.
