Still Alive
Survived my first ever shave with a straight razor.
It's much more difficult than I thought.
Not very happy with the result but no more nicks than with a normal razor really.
I need to improve my overall technique of preparation and shaving.
I won't be using it every day, takes too long, but I will stick at it!

Cut Throat
My first ever straight razor arrived today.
I have stropped it, oiled it and even practiced holding it,
Tomorrow morning will be the first great shave.
Watch this space .

Conspiracy Theories
There seem to be conspiracy theorists everywhere, perhaps the real conspirators, generate these false conspiracies to hide the real ones.
Some of the so called evidence is thrown together, looks plausible on the surface, but doesn't stand any sort of analysis.
The real truth, or at least my version of it will be given in my forthcoming book

I'm just happy to be here!
Although getting up in the morning is often a struggle and it takes me at least an hour to get going. I'm just grateful for the gift of another day.
One thing that my stroke has taught me is that life is a gift and we should make the most of what we have, be grateful for each new day as it's by no means a given thing.
Be happy, be positive, bask in the glory of each new day!

Depression
Depression isn't always about being sad or in low mood.
Sometimes it manifests itself as a general, sometimes overwhelming, tiredness. Or an inability to motivate yourself to do anything.
It can come and go, from day to day, even hour to hour.
I am struggling with great tiredness at the moment but I'm pushing through it, keeping myself busy, giving myself a purpose to motivate me.
I'll get through it, I have before!
Positivity is always good!
